Talk Money Week begins on 8th November 2021 and Warrington Housing Association will be joining the conversation. This is an annual event arranged by the Money & Pensions Service to try and break down the taboo of talking about money.
9 out of 10 UK adults say they find it difficult to talk about money or don’t discuss it at all. However, financial wellbeing is a crucial factor in living well as it impacts both physical and mental health. Talk Money Week aims to start money conversations in all walks of life by encouraging people to open up about personal finance so they can learn more and improve their financial wellbeing.
As the world recovers from the COVID-19 pandemic and more people are struggling with money worries, talking about personal finance and taking action to improve financial wellbeing is more important than ever. The benefits of talking about money are well documented, for example it can allow you to make better and less risky financial decisions, develop stronger relationships, help set children up with good money habits from a young age, and make you feel less stressed or anxious about money and more in control.
So please join us in in helping the nation #TalkMoney.
