We would like to welcome apprentice – Matthew Carter – to the team, who has not had an easy start of it – beginning his career with WHA just before the pandemic began. This, however, has not squashed his enthusiasm for his new role.
Matthew is our new housing coordinator apprentice, graduating with a History degree from Bangor University in 2018. During his time at University, he got involved with a local homeless charity that provided evening outreach work to those sleeping rough, which perked his interest in following a career in the housing sector.
In the two-years since graduating Matthew has been working as a seasonal catering assistant at Chester Zoo, so has plenty of experience in working in a customer facing role.
He said: “I look forward to getting a wealth of different experiences while working at WHA and have enjoyed everything I have got involved with so far!”
