Niki Stockton, Warrington Housing Association’s Director of Operations, said: “We are delighted that we have secured planning permission at appeal to build 30 new one and two bedroom apartments for people over 55 in Penketh, Warrington.”
The scheme is located in Greystone Road, a popular residential area, with an excellent range of services and facilities in the immediate vicinity and good transport links.
Nikki added: “We were supported by Broadgrove Planning and Development, working with Eddisons Transport Planning. We now look forward to progressing the scheme which will provide much needed affordable housing in Warrington.”
The Planning Inspector noting Warrington Council’s lack of a five-year housing supply and the need for affordable housing were significant material considerations that weighed in support of the proposed development.
