The HOUSEHOLD SUPPORT FUND is here to provide relief and support to eligible individuals and families, and we want to make sure you know about it during the HOUSEHOLD SUPPORT FUND AWARENESS WEEK from 16-22 October 2023.
What is the HOUSEHOLD SUPPORT FUND?
We’re pleased to announce a significant extension to the Household Support Fund, covering the period from 1 April 2023 to 31 March 2024. This initiative, extended by the government and allocated by the Department for Work and Pensions to Warrington Borough Council.
The HOUSEHOLD SUPPORT FUND is an initiative by the UK government aimed at providing financial aid to eligible households, including tenants, who may be struggling due to various circumstances. The fund is designed to help cover essential expenses, ease financial stress, and support individuals and families during challenging times.
Each eligible recipient will receive a minimum of £190 over the 12-month period of the Household Support Fund 2023/24. These payments are not loans, and there is no repayment required. They also do not affect your eligibility for any other benefits you may receive.
